LOVING THE........

I have dreamt of a love where our heartbeats

Compliment each other like a Koshka,

Our arms, an open portal teleporting us from the world.

Yet, I've found love where there is no love.

Or have I found love where there's a different kind of love?

Is he the one whose sweetness

Flows through his words like Songs of Solomon?

Whose chocolates are from the finest mall,

And whose smile shines as bright as the morning sun,

Blessing me with the day's first vitamin and blessings?

Perhaps he is the right one I’ve never loved,

Or the wrong one I’ve never tried to love right.

Is he the one whose love lights up the darkest tunnel,

Blinding all who care to see its beauty?

His words rise before the sun rises,

Carried by the moist breeze of dawn

And accompanied by the melodies of the singing birds.

His love, so pure and kind

Reflect through his reminders

Just as I dreamt, just as I asked the universe for.

Is this the universe's message?

That my dreams are not fantasies?

Yet, he is the wrong one I wish were right,

So I could love and love right.

Is he the one whose mind carries

All the world’s processed herbs,

A dreamer lost in his fantasies,

Who has never truly known love

Beyond burning Bollywood tales ?

How I wished his fantasy love would be his reality

The love he spoke of could move mountains,

Yet he paved no way to hike them.

He is the wrong one,

Living in his fantasies and I would have love right.

Is he the one whose laughter erupts

From the depths of his soul like a lava,

Making him hot and brings forth my hearty smile?

Whose ideologies make him a unique soul?

The one who made me feel caged, yet safe,

In the fleeting beauty of Osekan’s waves?

I knew, even then, he’d be the right or the wrong

Because he had worlds of his own.

Is he the one whose dad-bod brings solace,

His hugs, a portal to escape life's feisty fists?

Whose warm embrace brightens my world,

Though he sometimes creates new shadows?

Is he the one who calls at dawn,

Reminding me to let life's struggle be my force and push,

And brings me “wanted girl” scents,

That fill my heart with a thousand wishes?

Is he the wrong one I love right?

Or the right one I’ve learned to love as best I can?

Am I loving the wrong one, right?

Or the right one,  wrong?

I have dreamt of a love, one that shines and blinds,

Yet ……
